Hardwood floors typically last for the life of a home. With the wear and tear of everyday use, they will eventually need refinishing.
We take the following steps before wood floor refinishing:
Can engineered wood flooring be sended and refinished?
In most cases yes. It all depends on the thickness of the wear layer. It can't be thinner than 3mm. Even at 3mm, if the floor is lumpy, you risk sanding through to the ply substrate. Engineered wood flooring is usually 4-8mm and is good for sanding and refinishing, at least ones.
Your stair treads can accumulate dirt, paint, oils and scratches from constant use, and over time the finish begins to look old, worn and faded. Using our high-quality and expert refinishing techniques, we can effectively restore the treads of your stairway to be looking brand new in no time. With our custom stain colors, our professional team can even match the color of your existing hardwood floors!
Stair railings serve more than a functional purpose - they give stairs a visual presence and make a staircase a work of art.
Sanding and refinishing will help the handrails of your home to last longer. Sanding and refinishing eliminates the damages, scars, slight cracks, and scratches and makes the surface smooth and even. Refinishing will provide a gentle sheen and a new look to your handrails.
